On 13 February 2025, Her Excellency TUOT Panha presented her credentials to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Royal Palace in Sweden, officially accrediting her as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Kingdom of Sweden, with residence in London.
During the royal audience, Her Excellency conveyed the compliments and best wishes of His Majesty the King of Cambodia to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf. In response, His Majesty extended his warm regards and well wishes to His Majesty the King of Cambodia.
Her Excellency the Ambassador also briefed His Majesty on the ongoing development of Cambodia-Sweden relations across key sectors, including trade, investment and tourism, while reaffirming her commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties. His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the growing relationship between the two countries.
Prior to the royal audience, Her Excellency was warmly received by Her Excellency Maria Christina Lundqvist, Chief of Protocol, and His Excellency Robert Rydberg, Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps. The two sides discussed cooperation in trade, investment, education and tourism, emphasizing new opportunities for further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the future.
