On 13 November 2023, Ambassador Lay Samkol paid a courtesy call on HE Desra Percaya, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Kingdom. Ambassador Samkol expressed his warmest congratulations to Indonesia for its success and concrete results made as Chair of ASEAN 2023. Both sides are delighted with the growing relations in many areas of common interest and exchanged views on ways and means to further strengthen and deepen bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries and embassies.
