On 8 November 2024, Her Excellency Tuot Panha, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, joined the Cambodian delegation led by His Excellency Khuon Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the 2nd Cambodia-UK Bilateral Consultation held at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Co-chaired by His Excellency Khuon Phon Rattanak and His Excellency Charles Hay, Director for the Indo-Pacific at the FCDO, the meeting highlighted the growing Cambodia-UK relations in priority areas such as high-level contacts, human resource development, education, culture, defense, and people-to-people exchanges. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to key priority plans set for 2025 to further enhance Cambodia-UK relations.
Additionally, His Excellency the Secretary of State met with Her Excellency Catherine West, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Indo-Pacific. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening political and economic cooperation and exchanged views on regional and international issues and cooperation of shared concern and interest.
