On 14 October 2023, H.E. Ambassador Lay Samkol and Madam, and Diplomatic Staff of the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom, attended the Pchum Ben Ceremony at Amaravati Pagoda, along with other 200 Cambodian people living in England from near and far, and Cambodian student associations in the UK. The Royal Embassy offered food, daily-needed amenities, and financial donations to the monks in the monastery, in accordance with our Buddhist traditions. On that occasion, H.E. Ambassador and Madam also greeted the Cambodian people living in England, who were invited to participate in the Pchum Ben Day with a pleasant atmosphere.
