On 6 February 2025, in London, Her Excellency TUOT Panha presented her credentials to His Majesty King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, accrediting her as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
During the royal audience, Her Excellency the Ambassador conveyed to His Majesty King Charles III the compliments and best wishes from His Majesty the King of Cambodia. In return, His Majesty extended his well wishes to His Majesty the King of Cambodia.
Her Excellency the Ambassador briefed His Majesty the King on the continued development of Cambodia-UK relations across various fields, including politics, defense, trade and investment, education, and tourism. His Majesty expressed his delight at the growing relations and the rapid development in Cambodia. He also expressed a deep interest in Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage, particularly the Angkor Wat temple, one of the world’s most renowned heritage sites.
To mark this solemn occasion, Ambassador Tuot Panha hosted a Vin d’Honneur at the Sofitel Hotel, attended by His Excellency Alistair Harrison, Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps, His Excellency Ivan Romero Martinez, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of ASEAN member states accredited to the United Kingdom, officials from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, and members of the Cambodian community in the UK.
