On 13 August 2023, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the United Kingdom participated in the celebration of ASEAN Family Day and the 56th Anniversary of ASEAN with the ASEAN London Committee. There were about 360 people including diplomats, staff and people from ASEAN members, and international guests joined the event at the Indonesian Ambassador’s Residence.
On the occasion of the ASEAN Family Day, all ASEAN Embassies to the United Kingdom have prepared special dishes that represent the national traditions and culture of each country. In order to promote economic diplomacy, particularly the rich cuisine of Cambodia, “The taste of Angkor”, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia has prepared a selection of special dishes and dessert including Amok Trei, Cha Lok Lak Sach Kor, and Bor Bor Tnout dessert. The event also features traditional ASEAN games, art performances and songs of each ASEAN member country.
