On 4 October 2023, H.E. Lay Samkol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom, accompanied by Trade Attaché, attended a working dinner with the Cambodian Delegation led by H.E. Samheng Bora, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, which was organized by Department for Business and Trade and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Cambodia to strengthen relations and seek further cooperation in bilateral trade between Cambodia and the United Kingdom. There was also participation from leaders of major companies currently investing and collaborating in Cambodia, including Ms. Chairman Caines, Senior Partner, Boston Consulting Group; Mr. Anthony Wood, CEO of DEWHIRST GROUP; Mr. Alasdair Pritchard and John Wood, Partners, Knight Frank Private Office; Mr. Matt Jackson, Head of High Growth Markets, KPMG; Mr. Robin MacKenzie, Group COO, British Expertise International, as well as several company / institution representatives.
